Photo Studio Rentals

Does the rental price include all the equipment I need to shoot?

Yes, the rental price includes essential equipment needed for most photoshoots. We do not include cameras/lenses, computers, or camera tripods. Click here to view our full list of included equipment.

Does my rental include seamless paper backdrops?

Yes, your rental includes use of any of our seamless backdrop rolls. Free seamless is reused between customers. You’ll always have clean paper behind your model, but the floor will have footprints. You can always bring your own seamless and we provide backdrop stands and a cross bar.

We offer six different 9-foot seamless colors, five different 4-foot seamless colors, one 12-foot white seamless, and fabric/printed backdrops.

Do you have any unique furniture?

Some, but we aim to provide simple and professional studio spaces. We do not provide a ton of furniture or gimmicks in order to avoid clutter. We recommend bringing your own, renting, or checking out https://recycledsets.com/ for other props.

When is the best time for natural light?

Our Santa Ana studio faces North/South, so the natural light is bountiful, soft, and indirect all-day-long!

Our Huntington Beach studio door faces West, so the best light will always be before noon.

Both studios have large silks that can be attached to the doors for diffusion.

Will there be staff on site while I’m there?

Not usually. Our studios are self-service.

How to I get into the studio once I book it?

When you book online, we will send you a confirmation email. Then, 8-hours prior to your rental, you’ll receive another email that contains a code to open the lockbox with a key on our front door. You’re also responsible for locking up after your session.

Do you have heat and air conditioning?

Yes! We have central heat and air conditioning in our studios. Studio B’s heat doesn’t work well so its cold in the winter.

Is there wifi and a sound system?

Yes, we provide free high-speed wifi with your rental. We also have a sound system that you can connect to via bluetooth or our provided 3.5mm aux cable.

Do you have a bathroom?

Yes, we have clean remodeled bathrooms with hand-washing stations, and first aid kits.

Is there parking on site?

Yes, you can park up to 3 cars anywhere in the parking lot plus you can put one car along the roll up door in the back.

Do you offer refunds if I need to cancel?

Yes, from your confirmation email you can self-cancel any rental for a full refund as long as it’s more than 48hours in advance.

Cancelations with 48hours notice are given a store-credit.

Cancelations with less than 24-hours notice are non-refundable and no store-credit will be given.
